Biography

Morten joined 3i Growth Capital as Director in June 2006 and is responsible for Growth Capital in the Danish market. Prior to joining 3i Morten has spend more than 18 years in the financial sector, hereof 8 years in Investment Banking (Private and Public M&A, IPO's etc.) and almost 9 years in equity research and sales (Copenhagen and London).

Morten has over the years obtained a good sector insight into Transport & Logistics, Environmental Services, Wind Industry and Fashion (Consumer) - all sectors in which Danish companies take prominent positions. Key strengths are origination, M&A processes and capital markets. Morten has led 3i's investment (option agreement) into a Danish fashion company and he was part of the Targetti / Louis Poulsen deal team with responsibility of leading 3i's efforts in Targetti's acquisition of Louis Poulsen.

Morten holds a MSc Economics from Copenhagen University (1990).
