Biography

Guus started at 3i in June 2000 and is a Director in the European Buyout team, based in Amsterdam. Guus focuses on the Consumer sector and the Benelux. Key deals that he has been involved in include: Refresco, a manufacturer of private label fruit juices and carbonated soft drinks; Hyva, a hydraulic solutions provider to the commercial vehicle sector; and Dockwise, marine heavy transport. Furthermore, Guus led the Daalderop transaction. Guus sits on the board of Daalderop (boilers and water heaters) and observes on a number of boards including Hyva and Adnovate. He started his career at McKinsey & Co. Following this, he worked for four years with the Boston Consulting Group. Guus has an MSc in Applied Physics from TU Delft and an MBA from INSEAD.
