Tom Salmon


Tom joined 3i in June 2004 and is based in the UK, having recently spent over a year in 3i’s Madrid office.
Tom specialises in private equity investments in the UK and continental Europe and has played a key role in a number of deals, including the investments in JMJ (a global transformational consultancy), NCP (the UK's leading parking services operator) and Boomerang (a leading Spanish independent TV production company).  Exits in which Tom has been involved include NCP, Everis (a global IT consultancy) and Yellow Brick Road (a pan-European telephone directories business).  Tom currently sits on the boards of Agent Provocateur and Hobbs.
Prior to joining 3i, Tom qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London, latterly in their Business Recovery Services division. He has a First Class honours degree in Modern History from University College, Oxford, and is a member of the ICAEW.
