Rafael is an Associate in 3i’s Private Equity team in Brazil.

He joined 3i in 2013 after finishing his MBA. Rafael spent 3 years in Deloitte’s Transaction Services group in São Paulo, where he worked on over 40 M&A transactions. Prior to that, he spent 3 years as an analyst in the FP&A group at Kraft Foods in Brazil, where he was also appointed to an assignment at Kraft Foods Philippines, where he reconstructed the affiliate’s financial history.

Rafael earned his MBA from the University of Oxford in 2012 (dean’s list) and his B.A. in Business Administration from Centro Universitário Franciscano do Paraná in 2005.
